Summary

Fort Collins page is live. Smaller issues remain: duplicate schema, placeholder images. Checked Google Search Console: page is crawled, indexed, getting more impressions, average position trending up. Then spent the bulk of the session on a Claude-projects masterclass. Built a complete project inside Sarah's Claude account: custom instructions, business-information template (filled by a research GPT against nocoartisan.com), tone-of-voice guide (generated from Sarah's emails via a dedicated GPT), and the set of modular section prompts (weather / climate, how-we-work, FAQs, schema, etc.). Tested it by generating a weather section for the Windsor parent page, then a "how we work" section: both came back sourced, on-brand, within word count. Added em-dashes to the "words and characters to avoid" list. Ended with a plan to replace SEMrush ($350 / mo) with Claude Code + DataForSEO pay-as-you-go, via the Kimi alternative if the $100 / mo Claude plan is too much. Sarah asked for a Notion-style recap hub and a written to-do list per cycle (which is what this portal addresses).

Chapters

Highlights

  • Fort Collins page is indexed, getting more impressions, position moving up. Strategy is working.
  • The Claude project (system prompt + business info + tone of voice + modular section prompts) is now fully built in Sarah's account and ready to generate the remaining service-area pages.
  • Em-dashes are a tell for AI-generated copy. Added to "words and characters to avoid".
  • Prompt-file naming stays constant (system prompt references files by name). Contents can evolve freely.
  • SEMrush replacement plan: Claude Code + DataForSEO MCP. Pay-as-you-go vs $350 / mo fixed.
  • Sarah's explicit asks: recordings + a Notion-style hub, and a written to-do list every 2 weeks.

Decisions

  • Test the new Claude project on the Windsor parent page; compare vs the old flow; report back.
  • Move keyword research off SEMrush and onto Claude Code + DataForSEO. Kimi as the budget fallback.
  • Next session in 2 weeks (Feb 17).
  • Nico to send a written to-do list every 2 weeks going forward.
